Finale
Well...it's done. All of my posts are up and my project is complete. I don't think I've ever spent this much time and effort on a single assignment in my whole life. This kind of inquiry-based learning was completely new to me when I started this. Having the freedom to choose and make this a Passion Project was a welcomed light in an otherwise pretty dark year. I have a history of creating work or writing what I think my instructors want to see and hear. That strategy served me well when my goals were purely grades-focussed, but never really served me as a learner. I have had to work to change that mindset and value meaningful learning, especially if I ever expect my future students to do the same. I had to remind myself of this multiple times over the course of this project. I always "performed" much better in classes that I had interest in, and struggled in everything else.
